Poverty Pitfalls


Volcano eruptions, earthquakes and mudslides ruin people's homes.	Churches help sponsored children find new places to live if natural disasters destroy their homes.
People get sick with malaria and tuberculosis and have no money for doctors or medicine.	Health workers visit Compassion centers to give kids checkups.
Many people don't get all the healthy food they need.	Sponsored children in Indonesia eat nutritious meals at their Compassion centers.
