Poverty Pitfalls


Babies and moms are at risk of dying during unsafe childbirth.	Our church partners help pregnant moms get to and pay for the hospital when it's time to have their babies.
Kids walk miles every day to collect water, which keeps them out of school.	Sponsored kids stay in school and learn extra lessons from tutors at Compassion centers.
More boys go to school than girls, and men often get paid more than women at jobs.	Tutors teach sponsored kids that God equally values boys and girls.
