How Would YOU Help?
Have you ever been in a situation where you weren’t sure how to help someone? Sometimes it can be tricky to know exactly how to act like Jesus would want us to — with kindness and compassion.
In this activity, the Compassion Explorer animal mascots find themselves in tricky situations. Print out the PDF to the right. Then choose what you think the mascots should do to be the most helpful. But here’s a twist: Before you choose your answer, act out each possible situation with a family member or friend! For example, you play the role of Sloth and your dad plays Llama. There are no right or wrong answers. The point is to think and talk about how you could respond when someone needs help. Have fun acting out your roles and talking about your choices!
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
